DESCRIPTION:We are so thankful for our very own Ms. Fab who has agreed to return and teach Virtus training for our SCJ parents this year. ANY PARENT WHO WISHES TO VOLUNTEER ON CAMPUS MUST BE VIRTUS TRAINED AND FINGERPRINTED. Here is your opportunity to fulfill the requirements to chaperone your child on field trips\, help with classroom parties and so much more! The Wednesday class is reserved for only SCJ parents\, and the Thursday class is open to all the Archdiocese as well as SCJ parents. \n\n\n\nThere are only 30 spots per class so sign up now by contacting Mrs. Blake or Mrs. Austria in the school office. If you RSVP – please be respectful and make every effort to attend as you are taking one of our precious spots for these classes which are rarely offered on campus.  Fingerprinting is offered by the Archdiocese on an appointment basis. Please see the attached schedule to make an appointment through the website for fingerprinting. If you are struggling to find an appointment\, please contact Mrs. Austria in the office as new times are often added and she can help get you scheduled. You need both Vitus training and fingerprinting completed to volunteer with children on campus.

DESCRIPTION:The Evite has been sent out to all new room parents and event chairs for the 2024-2025 calendar year. If you are an event chair or room parent and did not receive an Evite\, please email us at scjpa@stcyril.net. We will have wine and cheese on hand to celebrate our room parent and event chair volunteers this year. We will also have a brief meeting to go over all the information you need as you fulfill your volunteer duties in these roles. We still have a few event chair slots open for Halloween Carnival\, Turkey Trot and Gala. Please reach out to us if you are interested in finding out more about these roles! \n\n\n\n(Note this event is for 2024-2025 room parents and event chairs only).

SUMMARY:Welcome New Families Mass\, Fro-Yo Social and Used Uniform Sale
DESCRIPTION:Help us to welcome the new families joining St. Cyril of Jerusalem this year! Our parish 4PM mass will be in honor of our new families this year. Following the mass at 5PM the school will offer frozen yogurt for all families in the Hall. Meet the school’s leadership team\, the new PA board and your fellow SCJ families. Our Used Uniform Sale chairs\, Cara Moffat and Jill Thompson will also have the used uniform shop set-up for parents wishing to purchase gently used uniforms at a discounted price. This will be the only sale before our October open house\, so be sure to take advantage! \n\n\n\nFamilies who wish to donate uniforms may drop them off in a bag to the front office before 12PM on Friday\, 8/16. Please put your name on your bag so that we can award you credit to use in the sale. All set for uniforms and don’t need the credit\, but would like to donate items? Consider donating your used uniform credit to another family who will be shopping on Saturday.
