DESCRIPTION:On Jan. 28\, 2026\, Archbishop Paul S. Coakley\, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops\, called for a Holy Hour for Peace as a moment of renewal for our hearts and for our nation. In his invitation\, Archbishop Coakley reminded the faithful that “our faith matters\, our prayers matter\, and our acts of love and works of justice matter\,” emphasizing prayer as a vital step toward healing. In light of this invitation\, Archbishop Jose Gomez has designated Feb. 4th\, 2026\, as a Day of Prayer for Peace here in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. (J. DESCRIPTION:Save the date and join us for our second SCJ PA meeting of the year. We will once again be gathering in the parish hall for dinner and our meeting followed by family fun. The meeting will start at 6PM in the parish hall with childcare provided at the after school bungalow. Kids will reunite with their parents after the meeting at 7PM for a family fun paint night! Predrawn canvas and paints will be provided. It will be an enjoyable evening with a few fun activities and prizes thrown into the mix.
