Dear St. Cyril Families,

We hope that everyone had a restful weekend and a fun Superbowl Sunday. A special thank you this week to Tanya Booke, our official Superbowl Squares commissioner who spearheaded our 3rd annual Superbowl fundraiser. We are so grateful to Tanya for her volunteering to head up this fun online event which earned $1,000 for our school! Way to go Tanya! Thank you to all the parents who participated. We invite you to join us at our upcoming PA meeting on February 20th at the SCJ hall from 6-8PM and be part of the excitement as we look ahead to spring plans for our school community. The RSVP link is below and childcare + dinner will be provided. We will be having some creative fun as we sip + paint following our evening meeting and dinner. 

Tickets are now on sale for our annual Gala – Champagne Nights & City Lights – to be held at the Universal Sheraton Stargazer Room. It’s our most exciting community event and fundraiser of the year and will feature our live and silent auction, DJ and dancing, casino tables and more fun surprises! Parent Association 2025-2026 Weekly Update

February 9-13, 2026

WINTER PA MEETING – SAVE THE DATE!
Friday, February 20th – 5:30PM – 8:00PM | Parish Hall

We’ll gather in the Parish Hall for a lenten dinner, followed by our meeting and a night of family fun. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 PM in the hall, with childcare available in the after-school bungalow. At 7:00 PM, children will rejoin their parents for a family paint night! Predrawn canvases and paints will be provided, making it easy and fun for everyone to participate. If you’d like to bring a smock/apron or extra paints and brushes please do! We’re looking forward to an enjoyable evening filled with creativity, laughter, and a few fun activities and prizes along the way. Please RSVP using THIS LINK

SCJ SPRING GALA – CHAMPAGNE NIGHTS & CITY LIGHTS
Friday, April 17th
Sheraton Universal Starview Room

We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 Spring Gala – Champagne Nights & City Lights! The Sheraton Universal Starview Room has been secured for this unforgettable evening. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner, cash bar, and dancing, all while taking in breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hollywood Hills and beyond. The evening will also feature casino tables with a $25 chip buy-in*. The individual with the most chips at the end of the night wins a gift basket! Our fantastic silent auction will also be back with opportunities for our kids to enjoy special teacher outings and experiences plus campus naming rights and reserved parking spaces. A special live auction will take place at the event.

SUPPORT THE 2026 SCJ GALA! DONATE AUCTION ITEMS!

Mark your calendars! The 2026 SCJ Gala is happening Friday, April 17, 2026, and we need your help to make it our most impactful fundraiser yet. This year’s gala proceeds will go toward upgrading the playground.

You can make a difference by donating items to our Auction! All donations are tax‑deductible, and every contribution helps fund these important projects.

Some great donation ideas include:

SNACK SHACK

The Snack Shack will officially open on Monday 9/15!

Without enough volunteers, Snack Shack may close.

Snacks and small trinkets are available for purchase, so please send your child with cash if they’d like to shop. Let’s keep the Snack Shack running for the kids!

This is a gentle reminder to please review your volunteer hours in your Gradelink portal.

Please note that the fulfillment deadline for 8th grade parents is April 30, 2026. Any unfulfilled volunteer hours after this date will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
