Happy St. Patrick’s Day, SCJ! ☘️ We’re gearing up for our biggest night of the year—Champagne Lights & City Nights on Friday, April 17th—and you won’t want to miss it! Be sure to check out the full details on ticket sales in the section below, along with exciting opportunities to get involved through sponsorships (think signature cocktails named after your business and casino table sponsorships!). 

And most importantly, our auction is a major driver of our fundraising success—we are actively seeking auction donations and truly welcome contributions from our parent community. Whether it’s items you can procure through your work, experiences, services, or even unused, unopened items at home, these donations make a meaningful impact and help us reach our goals. 

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we’re also shining a light on some of our incredible behind-the-scenes volunteers; starting with a huge thank you to Heather Rinker for her amazing work leading our See’s Candy fundraiser. The candies may be small, but the impact has been mighty bringing in meaningful funds for our school each year, and our final sale wraps this week on March 20th. Perfect timing to stock up on Easter treats delivered anywhere in the U.S. (details below!). We’re so grateful to Heather for her years of dedication managing every aspect of this fundraiser and the relationship with See’s Candy! 

And finally, applications are now open for our 2026–2028 Parent Association Board; an incredibly rewarding way to make a real impact at SCJ. The deadline to apply is April 15th, and you’ll find the link below. If you’re curious or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d love to chat!

SCJ SPRING GALA – CHAMPAGNE NIGHTS & CITY LIGHTS

Sheraton Universal Starview Room

We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 Spring Gala – Champagne Nights & City Lights! The Sheraton Universal Starview Room has been secured for this unforgettable evening. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner, cash bar, and dancing, all while taking in breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hollywood Hills and beyond. The evening will also feature casino tables with a $25 chip buy-in*. The individual with the most chips at the end of the night wins a gift basket! Our fantastic silent auction will also be back with opportunities for our kids to enjoy special teacher outings and experiences plus campus naming rights and reserved parking spaces. A special live auction will take place at the event.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR                                                                                                  March 23 – March 26

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help make this exciting event a success. Volunteering at the book fair is a fun way to be part of the process as students discover new books they love. Even better, it’s a great way to earn your parent service hours while supporting our school community.

Mark your calendars! The 2026 SCJ Gala is happening Friday, April 17, 2026, and we need your help to make it our most impactful fundraiser yet. This year’s gala proceeds will go toward upgrading the playground.

You can make a difference by donating items to our Auction! All donations are tax‑deductible, and every contribution helps fund these important projects.

Please note that the fulfillment deadline for 8th grade parents is April 30, 2026. Any unfulfilled volunteer hours after this date will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
