Behind every school event, fundraiser, and celebration is a team of dedicated parent volunteers. Meet the families serving on the St. Cyril of Jerusalem Parent Association board — and don’t hesitate to say hello at drop-off!

Vanessa Prado
SCJ PA President
Hello everyone! My name is Vanessa Prado, and I’m a proud mom of four children. As both an alumna of the school and a member of our community, this school has always held a special place in my heart.
My children are actively involved in school sports and a variety of school activities, which has given our family many opportunities to connect with other families and experience all that our school has to offer. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed volunteering and being actively involved in our school community, supporting events and programs that help make our school such a special place.
I’m passionate about giving back, fostering school spirit, and helping create meaningful experiences for our students, families, and staff. I look forward to continuing to serve our school community and working alongside so many dedicated parents and volunteers.
Gabriela Ceciliane
SCJ PA Vice President
Mrs. Gabriela Ceciliane has been a member of the SCJ parent community since 2020, when her oldest joined St. Cyril as a 3rd grader. She is proud to say that he is now a graduate of St. Cyril and is off to high school as he begins his freshman year at Crespi Carmelite High School. Luckily, she still has a ways to go and plenty of time to give back to the SCJ community she calls home, as her youngest began at SCJ three years ago in preschool and is now off to Kindergarten for the incoming school year.
You will always see her helping out and supporting the school community in any way she can to help enrich it. This time around, she felt it was time to give back in a bigger way to a place that has done so much for her family, but especially her two boys. As Vice President of the Parent Association, she is ready to help build and broaden parent involvement within the school community.
One thing she wants everyone to remember is that it is always with the students at the center of her heart.

Sima Seropian
SCJ PA Treasurer
My name is Sima Seropian, and the Seropian family joined St. Cyril in 2017. We are proud parents to four children: Austin and Lola, who are St. Cyril alumni, and Leyla and Enzo, who are current students.
Over the past 8 years I have been actively involved in the Parent Association. I am honored to now serve as Treasurer for the next two years and am grateful for the opportunity to take on this role.
St. Cyril has become much more than a school for us — it is a community that truly feels like family. We deeply appreciate the relationships we have built with the faculty, staff, and families at SCJ.
As Treasurer I am committed to serving with integrity, transparency, organization, and open communication. I am fortunate to work alongside an outstanding Parent Association committee, and together we look forward to making the next two years meaningful and rewarding for the entire St. Cyril community. Thank you for your trust and confidence.
Adrian Sanchez del Campo
SCJ PA Communications Coordinator
Hi, I’m Adrian, and my family has been part of the SCJ community for many years. My son is excited to be starting 5th grade this fall, and it’s been a joy watching him grow through the friendships, faith, and experiences he’s had here at SCJ.
Professionally, I work as an engineering leader in the technology industry, where communication and collaboration are a big part of what I do every day. As your Communications Coordinator, my goal is to help keep everyone informed about school events, important updates, and all the great things happening in our community — because we’ve all had that moment when we realize it’s Spirit Day after we’ve already dropped the kids off.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve our school community and look forward to helping parents stay connected, informed, and engaged throughout the year.

Deborah Nicolaou
SCJ PA Volunteer Coordinator
Deborah Nicolaou joined the SCJ community in 2023 when her son, Christian, entered 2nd grade. After touring the school the previous year, her family immediately fell in love with SCJ and knew it was the perfect fit.
Deborah grew up in La Cañada and attended Pepperdine University. Before becoming a mother, she worked in finance within the entertainment industry. Since 2019, she has been a Parent & Me teacher at her local community center, where she enjoys helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence.
Since joining the SCJ community, Deborah has enthusiastically volunteered her time and talents. She has chaired the SCJ Tree Lighting and Boutique for the past two years and joined the Parent Association Board in 2025 as the Volunteer Coordinator to encourage and strengthen parent involvement.
Deborah believes that when families become involved, the entire school community grows stronger. She is passionate about creating opportunities for parents to connect, volunteer, and help make SCJ an even more welcoming and vibrant place for all.
Rosa Menart
SCJ PA Secretary
My family and I have been a part of the SCJ community since 2017. Both of my kids have attended the school since preschool — Cooper is now going into 7th grade, and Madison is going into 8th grade.
The SCJ school and community are deeply special to my family and me, having spent nearly a decade here. I can say with certainty that it’s been one of the best decisions we have made for our family.
I previously served as the PA Treasurer for two years, which was an exceptionally rewarding experience. What better way to round out my last two years here than by serving as your PA Secretary? I plan to leverage my prior experience on the board to help our school community continue to thrive.
Professionally, I work in finance for a non-profit affordable housing lender. Being an active, supportive part of our school aligns perfectly with the core mission of community building that drives my work every day.
Outside of school and work, our family is heavily involved in sports — you’ll often find us cheering from the sidelines! I’m excited to serve as PA Secretary and round out my final two years at SCJ!

Questions, ideas, or a helping hand to offer? We’d love to hear from you at SCJPA@saintcyrilschool.org.
